Meet Foster Care Review

This month, Foster Care Review was featured in the Client Spotlight section of the QuarterCompany monthly newsletter.

Foster Care Review was developed in 1989 by the United Way in order to ensure proper review of children in the foster care system.  Their mission, to promote “prompt, positive and permanent outcomes for dependent children through case review and advocacy,” is evident with their over 37,000 successfully placed and cared-for children. They are an independent watchdog agency for our foster care system whose work ensures foster children are receiving proper care and attention from their case workers. The organization also makes suggestions and recommendations to the judge overseeing the case to better the lives of the foster youth population.
